This study guide focuses on the primary sutta in the Pāli Canon dealing with the contemplation of the body: The Discourse on Mindfulness Immersed in the Body (Majjhima Nikāya 119). Early Buddhism teaches that the body can be used to develop mindfulness and concentration, which in turn can be used to free the mind of its attachments to the body. Then the mind and body can live in peace.

    • The EPUB format is suitable for most e-readers, except Kobos and Kindles. This includes most e-reader applications on mobile phones and tablets (e.g. Apple's iBooks, various apps for Android), and on desktops (e.g. Calibre).
    • Kindle owners will generally want the AZW3 format. Unfortunately, AZW3s cannot be sent with Amazon's Send to Kindle service and need to be sideloaded via USB. Some have tried using Send to Kindle to send EPUBs, but with mixed success.
    • Kobo owners will want kobo's “KEPUB” format, which is a version of the EPUB format optimized for Kobo e-readers.
