This book is a short introduction to the basic principles of Buddhism: the Buddha, the Dhamma (his teachings), and the Sangha (the community of his noble disciples), also known as the Triple Gem or the Triple Refuge. The book includes an introductory essay, readings from early Buddhist scriptures, and a set of essays addressing questions often asked by those new to the Buddha’s teachings.

    • The EPUB format is suitable for most e-readers, except Kobos and Kindles. This includes most e-reader applications on mobile phones and tablets (e.g. Apple's iBooks, various apps for Android), and on desktops (e.g. Calibre).
    • Kindle owners will generally want the AZW3 format. Unfortunately, AZW3s cannot be sent with Amazon's Send to Kindle service and need to be sideloaded via USB. Some have tried using Send to Kindle to send EPUBs, but with mixed success.
    • Kobo owners will want kobo's “KEPUB” format, which is a version of the EPUB format optimized for Kobo e-readers.
